AutoMegaphone Package (Policy + Zones) Version 1.5.1 Give your experience clean, automatic Megaphone control without heavy logic or complicated setups. MPP – Auto Megaphone is a dual-script package delivered as a single Script asset. It includes a central Policy controller (the authority) and optional Zone triggers that request Megaphone state changes through ScriptEvents. The Policy script decides who is allowed to use the Megaphone and when, while Zones simply send lightweight requests to enable or disable it. This architecture keeps your scene organized, scalable, and easy to maintain. New in 1.5: the latest request always wins, visitor by visitor. A request that arrives during the cooldown is kept and applied when the cooldown ends, requests of the same instant are grouped (no more bursts of messages on a zone edge), a refused change never leaves a wrong state, "no longer in Megaphone mode" is only announced for visitors the Policy had turned on, the lists accept avatar handles, and the settings are grouped by category in the Build panel. Take a screenshot of both panels first, update one Policy and one Zone, and check that each object still runs its own module. • The modules are now listed as "MPP - Auto Megaphone Policy" and "MPP - Auto Megaphone Zone". Changelog — Version 1.5.0 • The latest request wins, visitor by visitor: a request that arrives during the cooldown is kept and applied when it ends, never lost. • Requests of the same instant are grouped (0.1 s), even with Cooldown Seconds at 0: no burst of public messages on a zone edge. • The state remembered for a visitor follows Sansar's answers: a refused change never leaves a wrong state, and the next request goes through. • "... is no longer in Megaphone mode" is only announced for a visitor the Policy had turned on. • All On / All Off: one summary message (public or private to the sender), no more copy per visitor; the denied message is sent at most every 5 seconds. • Whitelist, Blacklist and Global Event Whitelist accept avatar handles as well as UUIDs; old lists still work. • Zones and the Policy collision ignore VR hands. • Warnings at start for inconsistent settings (empty whitelist with a whitelist mode, join and collision sharing "once per session", collision without RigidBody). • Settings grouped by category in the Build panel; more robust in busy scenes.
